Having the honour of serving as the Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from Akola East since 2014, the commitment has always been to public service rooted in purpose the purpose of transforming lives, solving problems, and building a better future for the people.
Representing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), focus has consistently remained on addressing the core issues facing the constituency and region, especially in sectors that directly impact citizens’ daily lives. Agriculture has always been at the heart of this mission. Coming from a farming background, there is a deep understanding of the challenges faced by farmers. This experience has driven efforts to improve irrigation facilities, ensure timely access to subsidies, and support better market linkages. The formation of the Shetkari Nishtha Agro Producer Company was a step forward in empowering local farmers through collective strength and enhanced value for their produce.
Infrastructure development has also been a key priority. Roads, connectivity, and essential civic amenities form the foundation of long-term progress. Work has been consistently directed toward projects that strengthen transportation, modernize public utilities, and build lasting assets for the community. Active coordination with government departments has helped ensure that Akola East receives its rightful share of development, with a strong emphasis on effective and transparent use of allocated funds.
In the Assembly, a strong legislative record reflects this commitment with over 89% attendance and more than 200 questions raised on matters directly affecting the people. The approach to public service has remained grounded in accessibility, accountability, act with integrity, and stand by the community in every circumstance.
The journey is far from over. The vision remains firm to serve the people of Akola East and Maharashtra with unwavering dedication, energy, and a forward-looking spirit.

Early Activism (1990s)
My political journey began in the early 1990s when, at the age of 17, I became actively involved in student and farmer movements led by the Shetkari Sanghatana. Those early days on the ground—marching alongside farmers and standing up for their rights—shaped my understanding of grassroots politics and rural realities. The values I learned during that period—resilience, community-driven leadership, and people-centric governance—continue to guide my work to this day.
Strengthening the BJP in Akola (2000–2015)
Over the following decade, I dedicated myself to building the Bharatiya Janata Party’s presence in rural Akola. I had the privilege of serving first as General Secretary (Rural) and later as District President (Rural) of the Akola BJP. These roles gave me the opportunity to mobilize dedicated party workers, strengthen our organizational base, and expand our reach across villages and talukas. Together, we laid a strong foundation that would eventually lead to significant electoral victories and long-term trust in our leadership.
Legislative Excellence & Development (2014–Present)
In 2014, I was elected as the MLA from Akola East—a responsibility the people of this constituency have graciously entrusted me with for three consecutive terms. Since then, I’ve worked relentlessly to deliver development that reaches every corner of our constituency. One of the landmark initiatives I’ve championed is the ₹4000 crore PoCRA project aimed at making farming climate-resilient and sustainable. I have also led efforts in upgrading urban infrastructure, building rural roads, and promoting education and sports facilities. Inside the Assembly, I’ve consistently raised issues that matter to people and ensured the timely execution of welfare schemes and government programs on the ground.
State-Level Leadership & Vision (2022–Present)
In 2022, I was entrusted with the role of General Secretary of the Maharashtra BJP, and in 2024, I was appointed Chief Whip of the BJP Legislative Party in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. These responsibilities have enabled me to contribute not just at the constituency level but to the larger vision of governance for the entire state. I actively participate in key advisory committees, especially those focused on agriculture and the environment, and continue to advocate for policies rooted in balanced development, rural empowerment, and transparency. My commitment remains firm: to work towards a stronger Maharashtra where progress reaches the last mile.
Third Consecutive Term & Chief Whip (2024–Present)
Re-elected for a third consecutive term as MLA from Akola East in 2024 with a decisive margin of over 50,000 votes, marking a strong endorsement from the people. During the Winter Session of December 2024, I received the honour of being appointed Chief Whip of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, a role that involves ensuring legislative coordination, discipline, and effective communication between party leadership and members. Alongside this, I continue to serve as General Secretary of the Maharashtra BJP, contributing to organizational strategy, grassroots expansion, and issue-based policy planning. With active involvement in key advisory committees related to agriculture, environment, and rural development, the focus remains firmly on inclusive governance, transparent leadership, and delivering development that resonates with the needs of both rural and urban Maharashtra.

Legislative Advocacy & Administration
As Chief Whip of the BJP Legislative Party and a three-term MLA, I have actively raised key constituency issues in the Maharashtra Assembly. Through debates, motions, and policy interventions, I’ve championed public welfare—infrastructure, healthcare, and rural development. My work balances party discipline with amplifying public voices, ensuring Akola East’s concerns shape policymaking. With consistent Assembly participation, I uphold accountability and drive tangible outcomes for my constituents.
Organizational Growth
My BJP journey reflects a commitment to grassroots expansion and cadre development. From General Secretary (Rural) to District President (Akola BJP), I’ve mobilized workers across rural Maharashtra. As State General Secretary, I now contribute to party strategy, organizational planning, and strengthening statewide presence. A disciplined, ideologically rooted party is vital for governance success, and I strive to foster unity, outreach, and effective leadership at all levels.

Youth sports, cultural platforms, and entrepreneurship initiatives bridge urban-rural gaps. By building durable infrastructure and fostering self-reliance, I aim to make villages future-ready hubs of opportunity and growth.
